The Sound Weaver (Jacinta Percy) is a woman devoted to exploring the mystery of sound, resonance, breath, stillness and song.

Jacinta’s love affair with the voice, sound and music began as a wee babe, with Richard Clayderman being the only medicine to lull her to sleep. It was an inevitable journey with a piano-playing songstress for a grandmother and a great-great-aunt, dubbed “Queen of the Irish Song” in her family lineage.

This calling and her deep love and passion for voice, sound and music have led her to perform and work with profound teachers in Australia, Europe, Israel and India over the past twenty years. She weaves genres from classical to jazz, folk to improvisation, and dhrupad to Carnatic.

Jacinta was invited to teach and guide others at the young age of twenty-four. She continues to follow this path. She teaches privately at her music studio based in Northcote and facilitates group workshops in Melbourne, Australia, for all who want to remember their true voice, sound, and nature.

Her knowledge of her voice, open heart, and listening ear allow her to assist with a gentle grace that enables others to uncover what they seek. Her belief that we all need to sing, sing with courage, sing with joy, sing to mama earth. To discover our greatness and shine forth our potential into the world. This belief inspires her to share her love and passion with all.
