My beloved teacher Amit Carmeli is coming to Australia this month to share his wondrous Wild Roots Vocal Journey in March, Melbourne 6th - 10th, Mullumbimby 20th - 24th and Sydney 27th - 31st.

This workshop is a rare opportunity to work with an internationally acclaimed voice and breathwork teacher. During the course, you will be led on a journey of opening to your natural voice and allowing your deepest music to sing through you.

Four years ago, the mystery of life and voice-guided me to Amit. I had been teaching singing and voice for ten years and learning from some amazing teachers in Melbourne, India and Europe. Still, the first time I sat in a Wild Roots circle with Amit, I knew I had found the practice and teacher I had been searching for now.

My first meeting with Amit took me on a profound journey into the unknown and the timeless landscape of dreaming and wisdom. I began to recognise my voice not just as a vocal expression but as an expression of life. As we sat and sounded in a group, my voice started expressing sounds I had never heard before and some I had but hadn’t heard since I was a child. The tension in my body began to melt, and a feeling of deep peace came over me. I was home!

The meetings I have had with Amit over the last four years have deeply nourished me and allowed a curiosity for life to arise. I have taken the practices he teaches into my daily life, planted and cultivated them. The subtle magic and potency of the practice is slowly seeping into every cell of my body and beyond. Allowing me to flourish into the person I knew was there but had locked away. Amit gave me the keys and permission to unlock the door.
