Public Speaking

Adults, Teenagers

(beginner and intermediate)

There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.
— Maya Angelou

Do you have a story or a message that you want the world to hear?

Individually crafted Public Speaking lessons allow you to focus on the areas of your voice, presentation or speech that are needing attention. So you may gain the confidence you are seeking to share your ideas with the world.

Speech is powerful! It is one of the most powerful tools you have as a human. It allows you to communicate how you feel, describe and tell stories, debate, inform and entertain. It can touch hearts, open people up to new ideas and teach others how to do things.

The sound and delivery of your voice have an immediate impact and impression on people. It tells them who you are, what you believe in and whom you represent.

Learning new ways of vocalising, speaking and performing take time, effort and patience. You may be changing habits that date back to your birth.

For both students and parents, each student must develop a home practice. For beginning students, Jacinta recommends practising twice a week for around 10 - 15 minutes. Then over time, you can increase the time and days. Practice needs to come from a place of curiosity and willingness from the student. Learning new skills and coordination will not happen overnight; they take kindness, dedication and discipline.

At least 4 - 8 one hour lessons work best to learn the foundations and develop your skills as a public speaker.
