Lesson policy:

Lesson Time

Please arrive 5 - 10 minutes before your scheduled lesson time.

Students who are late for their lesson will receive the remainder of their lesson time, and time will not be made up.

If the student forgets a lesson, it will not be made-up.

If for some reason Jacinta is sick or has to cancel a student lesson, she will reschedule to the next suitable time for both parties.

Booking and Payment

All fees are to be paid by EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) at the time of booking. If this is not possible, Jacinta requests fees are paid a minimum of 48 hours before your lesson.

For those booking a 4 or 8-block of lessons, you must pay the full lump sum before your first lesson, and not pay as you go. If this happens, Jacinta will have to charge you the rate for single lessons.

If money is an issue, please let her know, and she can arrange a pre-paid plan with you.

Block Lessons

Please note that when purchasing:

4-block of lessons, it is valid for two months from the time of your first lesson.

8-block of lessons, it is valid for four months from the time of your first lesson.

If you have received or bought a gift voucher, it is valid for six months from the date of purchase.

Cancelling or Rescheduling

Jacinta values your time, her time and the services that she provides you. For her small business to operate and thrive, she must strictly enforce her cancellation policy.

All scheduled lessons are forfeited with no refund if not used within the time frames above or cancelled within 48 hours.

When cancelling or rescheduling a lesson, she asks that you provide her with as much notice as possible. A minimum of 48 hours notice is required. Otherwise, the lesson will be forfeited and full payment due.

If a student has pre-paid and needs to reschedule or cancel, provided Jacinta has received adequate notice 48 hours. She will either refund you in full or transfer the payment to the rescheduled lesson time.

Please do not book a lesson if you are having surgery in the same week, are sick, know you are going to a festival and will get back the day before your lesson, have exams the next day or the day of the lesson or if you are not committed or willing to learn.

Unfortunately, many people who are not genuinely sick use this as a way to avoid cancellation fees merely because they’ve changed their mind or something has come up, and their appointment is no longer convenient. Please understand that by cancelling at the last minute your problem or issue becomes hers.
