Good morning from the terrace in Portugal.

Innocence: Utterly natural state of the soul and the heart.
Transparency in feeling, thinking and behaving. It is living without judging. It is living with simplicity and joy. It is living in entirety. It is having an open heart. It is what allows us to start over without fear of making mistakes.
Sending my love to you all from sunny Portugal, where every day is 28-34 degrees, the nights are cool, and the wind blows with a quiet joy.
These travels have been many things:
wondrous and wild,
exciting and tender,
challenging in the softest ways.
There has been dancing,
swimming in cold bright water,
and the joy of seeing faces I love.
One feeling that keeps arising in me, that I continue to wonder about, is my aloneness.
How come, in the most beautiful, clear, flowing river surrounded by mountains and beautiful trees in Slovenia, did I feel so alone?
I had friends at the festival, but this feeling of aloneness was still with me.
What is aloneness? How do you feel alone in your life?
In the last few days, I’ve been learning to love my aloneness, and what I have received from loving my aloneness. Is that when I love my aloneness, it brings me closer to a life deeper inside me and around me, and it also brings me closer to people. I know I am never really alone, but always alone.
Lessons
I will be booking my private lessons for Term 4 sometime after Saturday 26th September. I will message all current students to see if you would like your regular times or a new time. Then I will offer the remaining times to my waitlist.
Term 4 begins Wednesday, 14th October and ends Friday, 18th December.
Workshops
Beginners Singing
A small group of four or five will meet this term again at my home studio in Reservoir.
Dates for Beginner Singing Groups- most likely there will be two this Term 4- will be announced after Saturday 26th September also.
Sound Weaving
The July Sound Weaving workshop sold out a month in advance, and I was truly overwhelmed by the beautiful response!
These workshops are deeply transformative and powerful for your voice and life.
The next Sound Weaving 2-day workshops have been announced and will be held on Saturday, 30th & Sunday, 31st January, 2027.
Choir Camp
