HAPPY NEW YEAR!
As I sit and write to you in the days leading up to the New Year. I would like to personally thank each one of you for being a shining light in my life this year. For without you, I would not be able to share what I love and am called to give. Thank you for being my teachers in life, communication and relationship.
Thank you to those students who took the chance, and went into the virtual world with me. There were so many gifts I received from this transition, and the platform worked like magic. You were my sanity and joy during the lockdown, teaching you all gave me grounding, focus and a sense of purpose.
As the ocean of life tossed and tumbled us all this year in many different ways, and life became uncertain, a few questions arose to the surface:
How can we surrender to the moment, to what reality is offering us?
When do we fight and struggle, and when do we surrender?
One thing I do know for sure is that in our voices lie our strength and power. If we seed trust in the breathing force, it shows us who we truly are in any given moment, and anything is possible. Music makes us come alive and brings the community together. It is our dance, our celebration and connection to each other and life.
May the changing days allow you not to know and rest in the comfort of her arms
May you see the preciousness of each moment and not live life in the past or the future
May you grow in the knowledge that we are all trying our best and listen deeply to the silent one
I look forward to seeing most of you in person next year, fingers crossed. I will also continue with online lessons.
Classes start back on 1st February 2021. Remember to book in your lessons for Term 1 around mid-January or earlier, so you get the times you want. I am still booking out 1-2 months in advance.
May you all take rest in the coming weeks and months, and enjoy the connection of meeting loved ones once again.
