As many of you know, I love to improvise and have been capturing my Song & Sound for many years, knowing that one day I will use it to start a project, an album, or simply share it unfiltered and unprocessed as I feel.
Here is the beginning of that sharing and remembering.
One still autumn evening, I was sitting on my couch thinking about all the things that were wrong with me, and I started singing. I decided to record what was coming out of me on my iPhone as a reminder.
Here is a reminder for me and for you: “There’s Nothing Wrong with You”
Strings in the Earth and Air (A Golden Treasure of Irish Verses)
“Strings in the earth and air
Make music sweet;
Strings by the river where
The willows meet.
There’s music along the river
For Love wanders there,
Pale flowers on his mantle,
Dark leaves on his hair.
All softly playing,
With head to the music bent,
And fingers straying
Upon an instrument.”
In Love and Song,
The Sound Weaver
